- You have to begin by writing the title of the paper towards the middle of the cover page. Make sure that the title is centered in the page. You have to then format the title in title case which is capitalizing only the first letter of each of the main word in the title. Be careful about not italicizing, writing in bold or putting the title in quotation marks.
- You shall have to include some information about the paper’s author and the course pertaining to which the author is writing the paper. Put this information in the center and as close to the bottom of the cover page as possible. You have to include information about the author and the course like name of the paper’s author, name of the course, name of the instructor and the due date of the paper. Place each item on a separate line.
-
You will now have to write down a shortened version of the title in the upper right hand corner of the cover page. The shortened version of the title should consist of only three to five words. Basically the shortened version should summarize the title and the gist of the paper. You will have to align the shortened version of the title at the right margin. - To the right of the shortened title, place a page number.
