The method of laying tiles on a bathroom is as follows:
• Incase you are planning to replace old tiles with the new ones, then you have to remove the old tiles from the bathroom floor with the help of a chisel.
• After the removal of the old tiles from the floor, you will have to make the surface smooth and clean. You can use grease cleaner to make sure that there is no grease on the floor. Incase there is grease on the floor, the tiles wont stick to the floor.
• Now you will have to measure and cut the tiles accordingly. But before cutting down the tiles, make sure that you have all the exact measurements in place. The cutting of the tiles can also be done at a local home improvement store. But if you want to cut the tiles yourself, you can rent a saw and perform the process. Remember to double check the floor measurements before applying the adhesive on it. It is always recommended that you pay extra attention to the measurements as they are a very crucial aspect in laying of tiles in the bathroom floor.
• Now is the turn for laying the tiles on the floor without any adhesive and then pulling them back after it is finished.
• Take the notched trowel and apply tile adhesive to the floor using it. You will have to make sure that the adhesive is applied evenly and leave it for a few minutes before setting the floor tile on it.
• Now put the tiles firmly onto the adhesive and remember to include spacers in between. Leave this overnight.
• You will now have to remove the floor tile spacers and then mix the grout accordingly.
• Use the rubber float for applying the grout in between the floor tiles. Make sure to do this at an angle of 45 degrees. You can wipe the excess grout with a wet sponge.
• Wipe the tiles clean after an hour.
• You will now need to seal the edges near the tub, sink, and toilet with a resistant caulk.
• Just let the bathroom tile as it is for a week and then mop it clean.
