How to Remove Tan How to Remove TanSome of us wish to have a tanned skin by exposing ourselves to the sun or by applying tanning lotions or sprays which help in giving the desired effect. But there also some of us who wish of having a fairer complexion and want to know ways by which they can remove their tan which has occurred due to excessive exposure to the sun/light. So here will know more about how one can remove the tan and dark spots from the skin thereby achieving a lighter complexion. Follow the below mentioned points carefully to have a lighter skin complexion and the ways to remove the tan of your skin:

• There are several homemade facial packs which can help in reducing the tan of your skin. These packs are very natural and you can prepare them quite easily in the comfort of your home. They will surely make your skin get rid off all the dark spots and tan. Apply the pack and let it dry off for about 15 minutes. After the stipulated time period of 15 minutes, you can wash your face with clean water. Make sure that the water with which you wash your face is cool enough. Washing your face with warm/hot water will take away the essential moisture from your skin. As the below mentioned facial packs differ in ingredients, it is therefore advised that you should not apply more than two packs per day. The recipes for the facial packs for removing tan are as follows:

  2. Mix together 1 tsp of milk powder, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 1 tsp of honey and ½ tsp of almond oil.
  3. Take 4 almonds and soak them overnight to grind them the next morning using drops of milk.
  4. Add turmeric powder with lime juice and mix them properly to use as a facial pack.
  5. Take some fresh mint leaves and grind them to use it as a pack.
  6. Mix together 1 Tbsp of flour, 1 tsp of milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice as a pack for removing tan from your skin.
  7. Take a fresh tomato and grate it. Then add to it some drops of lime juice and use the mixture as a facial pack.

• You can notice in the above mentioned packs, that many ingredients like tomato juice, lime juice, almond oil and milk are repeated in majority of the facial packs. The reason behind this is that all these ingredients are considered as natural sources of bleach which can provide a healthy glow to your skin. When you start applying any two of the above packs daily, you will notice a visible change in your complexion. You can see for yourself that your skin has become lighter and fairer. Moreover these facial packs do not have any harsh chemicals mixed in them which might damage your skin.
• Incase your skin has dark spots or patches that you want to get rid off, you can either place sliced raw potatoes on your skin or make a mixture of dry orange peel and curd to apply on your skin and leave it for about 15 minutes. You can notice the change in the texture of your skin in a few days.
• There is nothing as beneficial to the skin as eating fruits, healthy vegetables and drinking lots of water. Drinking lots of water daily will clean up the pores in your skin and make it healthier and fresher.
