How to Read Palms
There are many people around the world who are not so inclined towards the concept of palm reading. However palm reading can be traced back to very early stages of civilization and was particularly popular with the Greeks. Also known as chiromancy, palm reading can turn out to be quite an interesting subject provided you are well equipped with its basics. So, here we shall be discussing more about the methods of palm reading and the basics needed to master the art. Have a look at the following points which will help in clearing your fundamentals connected with palm reading:
- Begin by determining which hand of yours is the active one and which is the passive one. Generally that person for whom right hand is the more active hand, for them active is right and passive is left. It is worth noting here that the passive hand shows the inherited characteristics and the active hand reflects any changes in your life.
- There are three main lines in your palm. Try and identify them. They are the heart line: the top most line which is the most closest to the fingers, head line: the middle line and the life line: the line at the bottom.
- Let us first study the heart line. Heart line also known as love line denotes emotions and love in your life. Notice the place where your heart line begins. If it begins just below the index finger then there are high chances for you to be in a loving relationship, if it begins below the middle finger then it makes you more of a self centered person and chances are that you might want to pull back from love. But if the line is anywhere in between the index and the middle finger then you have a mixed kind of a feeling towards love and relationships.

See whether the heart line cuts across your palm. If it does then you might be a person who is more controlled and is closed regarding any emotions. But if the heart line is in a curved position and goes upwards towards the index finger then it makes you very affectionate and emotional. - The length of the heart line also denotes a lot about love. If the heart line is short then you are more inclined towards sex but if it is longer then you are more interested in love and emotional attachment. Notice whether the heart line in your palm points downwards towards the lifeline at the bottom. If it does then it is most likely that you will face heart breaks in your love life but if it is curvy and long then it makes you more transparent in your feelings about love and emotions. However if your heart line and head line are more towards being parallel then you are a person who has the capacity to handle your emotions.
- Let us now talk about the head line. This line is more concerned with the way and manner in which a person thinks. Notice the gap between the beginning of the head line and the life line. If both the lines are more towards being joined at the beginning then it makes you a person who is very cautious and fearful. But if the gap is more then you are more carefree and are inclined to take risks in your life.
- The length of the head line also is very important. Incase you have a shorter and wavy head line then you have lesser attention and are not so interested in thinking deep about things. But if the had line is long enough then you are more of a thinking person and put more emphasis on intellect.
- Now let us talk about the third line, the life line. You shall notice that this line begins at the edge of your palm, more in between the thumb and the index finger. The life line denotes the length of your life. It also throws light on the quality of your life. If your life line is very close to the thumb then you might be a person who has very less energy. On the other hand if the life line is curvy and wavy then you are more of a fun loving and enthusiastic person. If the life line is more of a semi circle then it makes you very strong and positive. However if the life line is more straight and is very close towards the edge of the palm then you might be a cautious and fearful person.
- The more long and deep your life line is the more healthier and longer your life would be.
