Instructions

If you wish to listen to your favorite song using your PSP, then you must firstly convert your music to the appropriate format (MP3 PSP music files) that your PSP is compatible with.

  1. Insert a higher memory stick to left side of your PSP. Use a memory stick that is 2.oo or higher.
  2. Now use a Mini-B connecter for your PSP and a USB, a standard connector for your PC.

  4. Once you locate the appropriate “settings” icon, click on the X-button so that your PSP identifies the USB device you are using.
  5. Now locate the PSP folder on the Memory Stick that you are using. At your PSP create a folder for saving your music. You can name the folder as “music.”
  6. Drag and drop the selected music files to the above created folder just like the way you do in your PC while saving files.
  7. Now that the music is transferred to the PSP, remove the USB by clicking the “safely remove hardware.” This option is available at the bottom part of your PC. However, if you are using Mac, then use the “eject” option.

Tips

  1. Transferring and storing music by using a Memory Stick takes longer time.
  2. PSP cannot be attached to a direct audio system. So do not try it.
