Blogger provides users with options to attach and post their personal video clips along with the video clips available on YouTube. But, these posted videos will not be indexed by Google as part of the Google Video search results. The videos posted by you will remain private and will appear only as a part of the specific blog. Also, the time required for uploading and posting a video clip differs based on the size and format of the video clip. You have to wait patiently till the video file is uploaded and posted completely.

Posting a Video Stored on Your Computer

Log in to Blogger using your Google login credentials, i.e., email address and password. You can now see your Dashboard allowing you to create new blogs or edit the posted blogs. Choose the appropriate option and open the blog into which you want to incorporate the video clip stored on your local computer. Click on the Edit button appearing on top of the particular blog.
Now you can see a tool bar appearing on top of the blogs content page. Click on the Insert a video icon from the tool bar. You will be shown with the Add a video pop up screen. Chose the option Upload, and click on the Choose a video to upload button.
You can now see a File Upload dialog box allowing you to choose the file from its currently stored location on your PC. Click on the Open button after selecting the video.
Now you can see the offline location of the video clip appearing on the screen. Click on the Upload button to start uploading the video. Wait till the upload is over and you are shown with a confirmation message.
The video will be uploaded and appear as part of your online blog posted on Blogger.

Posting a Video from YouTube

Log in to Blogger using your Google login credentials, i.e., email address and password. You can now see your Dashboard allowing you to create new blogs or edit the posted blogs. Choose the appropriate option and open the blog into which you want to incorporate the video clip stored on your local computer. Click on the Edit button appearing on top of the particular blog.
Now you can see a tool bar appearing on top of the blogs content page. Click on the Insert a video icon from the tool bar. You will be shown with the Add a video pop up screen. The screen provides you with option to search and post a video clip from YouTube or choose and post a video shared by you on YouTube.
Click on the My YouTube video options to choose a video form your YouTube profile and post the same in Bloggers. Otherwise, click on the From YouTube option to search the video clip on YouTube and post on Blogger
Now you can see the details of the video clip to be posted on Blogger. Click on the Upload button to post the video as part of the particular blog.
