A run is all about having three or more cards of the similar suit and they should be placed in sequence. However, you can also play in sets in which case you need to deal with three or four cards of the similar rank but belonging to different suits.
Once the stock pile gets finished you can start with the discarded pile by making it a fresh stock pile.
You can only win a hand when you become the first to deal with all the cards in hand through melding, laying off and discarding. After the player moves out the hand comes to an end.
