Instructions

  1. Firstly, shuffle all the cards properly.
  2. Now pick the 7 cards from the top of the deck and keep it them aside.
  3. Also keep aside a pile of six Pokemon cards as prize cards.
  4. Put the deck of cards on the opposite side of the prize cards.
  5. Look if you have any Pokemon in your hand. In case you do not have, simply reshuffle the deck of cards once again and repeat the second step. Allow your opponent to draw a card.
  6. Once you have the basic Pokemon in your hand, put the card that you want to use for attack, place it face down on the floor in front of you. In case you have more basic Pokemon cards with you, put them face down beneath your hands.
  7. Now flip a coin to determine who will start the game. Draw the card on your deck.
  8. If you want you can place one energy card under any Pokemon.

  10. You cannot use the Pokemon at the first turn. Moreover, you also cannot use the Pokemon that has just evolved on that turn.
  11. You can use poke powers or poke bodies even if that Pokemon is not an active Pokemon.
  12. To attack your opponent, you must note the attack cost and put that energy cards on that Pokemon. Only 1 is applied per turn.
  13. While attacking find out the victim Pokemon’s weakness element. The victim will receive double damage if your Pokemon is of that element provided it does not have the sign +?? beside the element.
  14. Also find out the victim Pokemon’s resistance element. This is important because it will cause -30 to the total damage, provided -?? beside the element is not there.
  15. You can proceed with the game to attack your opponent. Keep track of the damages by using the counters.
  16. You can recover a Pokemon from certain special conditions by making use of certain trainer cards. However, paralyzed Pokemon cannot retreat or even attack on that turn.
  17. Whenever you knock down your opponents Pokemon you take a prize card. This way when you collect all the prize cards or your opponent is left with no cards you win the game.
