Twitter has become popular as a medium to share the micro-blogs known as tweets with the people following you on the website. For marinating multiple twitter accounts, you have to use an email address created with Gmail. The email system launched by Google does not recognize the dots (.) included in your email address. So if you include a dot at any part of the email address, Google will still recognize it as the same and belonging to the single individual. When you add some additional dots to the email address, it will affect the original destination of the address.
For instance, if your email address is “myusername@gmail.co”, you can alter it to “my.user.name@gmail.com” or “my.username@gmail.com”, by keeping the destination address intact. You can even test the accuracy of the logic by sending emails to the modified address. These emails will appear as part of your original Gmail inbox.
However, Twitter does not recognize these multiple email addresses as same and belonging to a single individual. So the two versions of the email address belong to two distinct individualities. So you can use the modified email address to register and create a second account on Twitter.
Go to the twitter page and open your full name, modified email address and password in the respective fields. Click on the Sign up button to create your second Twitter account.
If you want to maintain more than two accounts on Twitter, you can modify the email address by inserting dots at various places and use the modified version of the Gmail id to create multiple Twitter accounts. However, you have to select multiple display names on twitter, as you cannot use a name that is already chosen and associated to a different profile.
