It is also a popular version of spinach dips that can be made with a number of simple and easy to find ingredients. There are various recipes allowing you to make the dip by cooking over heat, baking, or refrigerating the ingredients. Based on your convenience you can spend a few minutes to make the delicious dip and serve to your guests with dished and snack items of your choice.

Recipe I

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup of whipping cream
  • 1 cup of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 tablespoons of pimento, diced
  • 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons of parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 teaspoons of onion, grated or finely chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon of thyme

Instructions

  1. Combine the cream cheese cubes and whipping cream by adding to a crock-pot. Cover the pot and place it over low heat for about one hour or till the cheese is melted completely.
  2. Once the cheese has melted, add the chopped spinach, diced pimento, grated parmesan cheese and finely chopped onion. Also add the Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and thyme. Mix these ingredients well and cook over low heat by covering the pot. Cook for about 30 to 45 minutes.
  3. Remove the crock-pot from heat and serve with your choice of bread, cracker, or vegetables.

Recipe II

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) of salsa
  • 1 package (10 ounces) of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) of shredded Mexican cheese blend, divided

Instructions

  1. Combine the softened cream cheese, salsa, frozen chopped spinach, and shredded Mexican cheese blend by adding to a bowl. Spread the mixture evenly over an ungreased 9-inch pie plate. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the pie plate.
  2. Transfer the pie plate into an oven and bake at 350 degrees by keeping the plate uncovered. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or till the dip is properly heated through.
  3. Transfer the spinach dip with cheese to a serving bowl and serve to your guests with tortilla chips.

Recipe III

Ingredients

  • 3 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
  • 2 (14 ounce) can of spinach
  • 1/4 cup of diced onion
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the softened cream cheese, plain yoghurt, and cottage cheese to a large bowl and blend these ingredients well.
  2. Add the diced onion, spinach, and salt to the blended ingredients and mix these well.
  3. Keep the prepared spinach dip with cheese inside a refrigerator for about 2 to 3 hours till it is time to entertain your friends or family members.
