How to Make Sautéed Mushrooms


Mushroom is one of the common ingredients, which can be purchased from the market during all seasons and months. People use mushrooms as an ingredient to make other dishes, and also serve it as a starter after baking, frying, grilling, steaming, broiling, and sautéing. Sautéed mushroom is a delicious dish which is prepared by using mushrooms to be cooked with spices and butter. Parsley is normally used for seasoning the dish before serving to guests. You can use some ingredients like garlic and butter for adding a specific flavor to the sautéed dish.

  • ¼ cup of butter or margarine
  • ¼ cup of white wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon of pepper
  • 6 cups of fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
  • Chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Put the butter in a heavy 10-inch skillet and melt by putting it on uncovered grill and directly over medium-hot briquettes.
  2. Add the vinegar, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the melted butter and mix these well. Add the whole mushrooms and onion rings to the mixture and cover the skillet. Cook the ingredients for about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir all the ingredients and cook for additional 10 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle the dish with parsley and serve the sautéed mushrooms In garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup of butter
  • 1 lb mushrooms
  • lemon pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of water
  • ½ cup of cooking wine
  • 1 beef bouillon cube

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the mushroom and lemon pepper to the melted butter, and sauté till the mushrooms turn slight brownish.
  2. Add the water and cooking wine to the sautéed ingredients and bring the mixture to a boil.e
  3. Once the mixture start boiling, add the beef bouillon cube and cook till the dish becomes thick.
  4. Remove the pan from heat and serve the freshly made sautéed mushrooms.

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of baby portabella mushrooms
  • dried apricots
  • sun dried tomatoes in oil
  • White wine
  • minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Clean the whole mushrooms and cut those into slices or chopped pieces. Chop the dried apricot into small pieces.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil to a skillet and heat it for about 2 minutes. Add the minced garlic and sauté till it turns golden brown. While sautéing keep the garlic stirring and watch it carefully.
  3. Add the mushroom pieces, sun dried tomatoes and apricots to the sautéed garlic and keep stirring the ingredients till the mushrooms pieces become tender. Pour in the white wine in a couple of splashes and simmer down thee heat for few minutes.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and serve the sautéed garlic, sun dried tomatoes and apricots to your guests. You can even top the sautéed stuff on top of a piece of chicken or a great streak.
