Instructions

Take a colorful, 6 yard ribbon and cut it into two equal lengths. Achieving even size pieces is really easy. All you need to do is fold the ribbon in half and then cut it on the fold.
Now take one of the ribbon pieces and make a basic bow. Hold the piece with your hand in the center. First make the first fold and then over it the second fold. This process is identical to tying of a shoe lace.
Once you have created the basic bow shape with the ribbon piece, make sure to adjust the bow by pulling each side of the bow. This will ensure your pew bow has symmetrical sides.
When the bow is done as per your satisfaction, take the other piece of ribbon to make the tail of the bow. Tie this piece of ribbon in the middle of the pew bow such that the tail looks even. Add finishing touch by trimming the strings from the ends of the tails.
Now take a 10 to 12 inches long piece of light and flexible wire, and carefully loop it through the back of the bow’s knot. Make sure to twist the wire together properly at the back of the knot such that the two ends are joined. The wire will be used to hook the bow hence accordingly make adjustments to the length.
