Homemade shampoo recipes

Chamomile Shampoo: For making this shampoo all you need is 6 chamomile tea bags, 1 ½ tablespoons glycerin and 4 tablespoons pure soap flakes.

Procedure

  1. Boil some water and immerse the teabags into 1 ½ cups of boiled water. Leave it for 20 to 25 minutes.
  2. After nearly half hour remove the tea bags from the water.
  3. Now put the pure soap flakes into the tea water and allow it to stand until the soap softens.
  4. Add glycerin to the above mix and blend it properly.
  5. Pour the solution in a bottle and seal the bottle.
  6. Place the sealed bottle in a cool and dark place.

If you wish you can also add some other ingredients like borax, chamomile flowers and vinegar in the preparation. Each of these ingredients will add some definite value to the shampoo that may prove to be good for your hair.

Rosemary Herbal Shampoo: To make this shampoo you require1/2 ounce of rosemary, 4 oz of castile soap, 1/2 ounce sage, few drops of lavender oil and 1/2 ounce nettles. Each of these ingredients has certain features that are good for hair care. Procedure

  1. Properly blend all the herbs and also drops of lavender oil in a jar and seal it tightly.
  2. Boil nearly two cups of water and add to it 3 tablespoons of herbs mix that you prepared in the above step and then remove it from heat.
  3. Let the solution sit for about 40 to 45 minutes untouched.
  4. Now strain the mix in a clean container.
  5. Place 2 ounces of the mix in your old shampoo bottle or other bottle that you have.
  6. Add the castile soap to the mix, close the bottle and shake well.
  7. Your homemade shampoo is ready to be used.

Egg Shampoo: For this you need 1 egg, 1tablespoon Olive oil, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, ½ cup herbal tea and essential oils for fragrance.

Procedure

  1. Properly blend all the ingredients in a blender. Whip until the mixture acquires a smooth texture.
  2. Now pour the fine mix into a bottle and store it in refrigerator.
  3. Use this mixture with warm water. After applying the shampoo wash and rinse your hair thoroughly.
  4. You must use it more than once a week.
