This particular soup is really tasty and it involves only a few other ingredients which are easily available in the house. It hardly takes any time to prepare it and it can be a great recipe to make when you are in a hurry.

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp poultry seasoning
  • ¼ tsp parsley
  • A little paprika
  • ¾ cup flour
  • 1 ½ cups of milk
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Procedure:

  • It can be a good idea to do the preparations first before starting to make the soup. You can begin by making the chicken broth. You can buy chicken and roast it in the oven to get the broth. After you get the broth, keep it in the fridge to take away the fat layer. You can also use chicken bouillon with a little water for the broth. Add some seasonings like garlic, salt and lemon pepper to increase the taste. If the broth is really thick, you will love to taste the soup afterwards. And if the broth is not thick enough, you can add some chicken pieces to make it rich and tasty.
  • Once your broth is ready, you can make the soup. Take a large saucepan and boil the chicken broth in it. Add ½ cup milk to the saucepan along with all the seasonings. Since you are using garlic and onion powder, you need to boil for only 2 minutes. But if you use fresh garlic and onion, you should boil a little longer. This will help to cook the onion and garlic properly.
  • Take another bowl and add the rest of the milk to it. Mix the flour into it little by little so that you get a smooth paste. There should be no lumps from the flour. Keep stirring and mixing the ingredients. Pour this mixture to the boiling soup in the saucepan. Stir and whisk so that the soup does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Allow the soup to thicken just enough so that you will love to taste the soup. The soup can be served hot now.
