The movie viewing experience cannot be completed without popcorn. Popcorn can also be consumed as light and healthy snacks. It is also good as munchies while sitting among your group of friends. You can make different variation of the simple popcorn to astonish and entertain your guests. A number of spices and seasonings can be added to the popcorn to make it a gourmet treat. Add cinnamon for seasoning and make popcorns which are fresh, healthy and still delicious.

Recipe I

Ingredients

  • 2 1/3 ltr of plain popped popcorn
  • 1 egg white
  • 120 grams of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 0.25 teaspoon of salt (optional)

Instructions

1. Put the egg white, sugar, ground cinnamon and salt in a small bowl and mix these ingredients well.
2. Place the popcorn in a baking pan and pour the mixture over the popcorns. Mix the popcorns well with the other mixture and bake for around 20 minutes.
3. After 20 minutes, remove the cinnamon popcorn from the baking pan and allow it a few minutes to cool.
4. Serve the popcorn immediately or keep it stored in an airtight container for future.

Recipe II

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup of unpopped popcorn
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of light corn syrup
  • 2 (2.25 ounce) packages cinnamon red hot candies

Instructions

  1. Pour the oil into a saucepan and heat the pot over medium-high heat. Add the popcorn to hot oil and cover the pot. Shake the saucepan 2-3 times to coat the kernels with vegetable oil.
  2. Now the corns will start popping. Keep shaking the saucepan till the corns stop popping. Empty the saucepan by pouring the popcorns into a large paper bag.
  3. Place the butter, corn syrup and red hot candles inside a saucepan or microwave safe bowl. Put the saucepan on heat and keep the mixture stirring till the candies have melted completely.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and pour the hot syrup over the popped corns. Shake the paper bag for some time to coat the popcorns completely.
  5. Cool the cinnamon popcorn and serve.

Recipe III

Ingredients

  • 8 cups of air-popped corn
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Put the butter in a small saucepan and put the pot on medium or low heat till the butter is melted completely.
  2. Add the vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and brown sugar to the butter and stir the mixture to blend it well.
  3. Take the hot mixture and pour it over the popcorn to cover these completely. The coverage has to be done based on your taste and liking. Pour the whole mixture to get zesty popcorns, or just drizzle the mixture sparingly to add a subtle taste to the popcorns.
  4. To add some more flavors to the cinnamon popcorn you can add some additional ingredients like peanuts, pecans and dried apples.
