How to Make Chicken Pasta
Pasta is one of the most versatile edibles that you can cook in a variety of ways. Those who love vegetables can add a variety of vegetables to it and those who like non vegetarian can add chicken or eggs or shrimp to it to make it more filling and tasty. Pasta and its variants, spaghetti and macaroni can be replaced in dishes as per choice. As making pasta is easy and fast and it also fills the stomach, many love to take it as a meal. As there are lots of nutritional additions done to the plain pasta, it turns into a complete food with different vitamins and nutrients. There are also various types of sauces that you can add to the pasta to make it delicious. While the Italian sauces use meat in them, some even love to use tomatoes, olive oil, cream and cheese and spice it up with salt and chili pepper.
With all the basic ingredients needed for cooking pasta, you can add your choiced vegetables or meat or sea food to make it tastier and sumptuous. Chicken pasta is one of the favorites with many. Loved by both young and old, chicken pasta can be made in different ways. While you can add bigger chicken pieces to the sauce, you can also use smaller pieces for having chicken and pasta in every mouthful. Here is how you can make chicken pasta in just a few minutes.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast
- Carrots
- Broccoli
- Onions (one medium sized one chopped well)
- Green pepper
- Cloves of garlic (about 3 to 4 minced)
- Olive oil
- Salsa sauce or any other sauce that you like
- Parmesan Cheese
- Cream
- Olive oil
- Basil
- Pepper
- Salt
Steps to cook
- Take angel hair or any other pasta you like.
- Add water to the pot. Let it come to a boil.
- Put adequate amount of salt to the hot boiling water.
- Add pasta and let it cook for a few minutes.
- Don’t cook it too tender and remove it from the flames and use a filter to drain out the water. Let the water run and leave it aside.
- Take some olive oil in a skillet and add the chicken pieces to it. Add some salt and pepper and let it cook properly.
- Take the rest of the oil and add the chopped onion and cook.
- Once the onion is cooked add minced garlic.
- Add the vegetables and cook. Put salt and let it cook properly.
- Once the vegetables are cooked, add the salsa sauce and add water to shimmer
- Add the chicken pieces and cook for a few minutes more. Remove and keep aside.
- Take a skillet, add the cream, parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and basil powder and make a smooth paste. Add the boiled and drained pasta to it and stir properly.
- Take a serving bowl. Pour the pasta and cheese mixture. Pour the chicken and vegetable mix to its top and serve.
