How to Make Cauliflower Manchurian
Cauliflower Manchurian is a spicy tasty appetizer and a Chinese dish with Indian spices. Whether, dry or gravy, both have great taste and flavors. It can be enjoying as an evening snack and may eat with other side dishes. Making this Manchurian is quite easy if you follow some instructions given under:
Ingredients
Cauliflower
Ginger, garlic paste
Corn flour
Red chili powder
White pepper powder
Tomato sauce
Fried onion rings
Vinegar
Soya sauce
Chinese salt
Coriander leaves
Preparations
Clean the cauliflower florets and cook them in salt water for few minutes. Drain the water fully and pat dry with a kitchen towel. While preparing this type of dishes always keep your hand clean, as it is matter of hygiene and cleanliness. Mix corn flour, salt, red chili powder, white pepper powder, ginger garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, food color, and china salt. Make a fine paste, add cauliflower, and toss in to coat it with the paste. If you wish, you can add one or two teaspoon of lemon juice in the mixture. Lemon juice always makes the ingredients crispy and delicious. Heat one or two cups of oil, deep-fry the cauliflower florets, and drain the excess oil with a paper towel. Keep this aside.
If you want, you can add some fine flour in it for better texture and flavor. So mix fine flour, corn flour, salt, red chili powder, white pepper powder, ginger garlic, vinegar, soy sauce, and china salt in a bowl. Make a thick paste, add cauliflower, and toss in to coat it with the paste. Fine flour is an optional choice. So, if you do not want to add fine flour and only want to mix corn flour you can go with that. Mixing fine flour gives little bit different taste .hence; make it as per your own taste and requirements.
Heat some oil in a large pan. Keep it on high flame. Sauté onions, ginger, garlic, tomato sauce, chili garlic sauce, pepper powder, and green chili for some time. Once they tender a little bit, toss all the ingredients for three, four minutes until the spices becomes dry. Add pinch of salt in it. Those want salty taste can add more salt. However, generally, in cauliflower Manchurian less salt added to bring a good taste. Toss with a large spoon. Serve with coriander leaves.
You can decorate the Manchurian plate by keeping a green chili in the middle of the plate and decorate with onion and carrot rings in those edges of the plate. You can add coriander leaves in the gap of carrot and onion rings. It will look great and make you increase your appetite. Sprinkle some quantity of tomato sauce in the side of that plate. It can be more enjoyable if look nice to eyes. Do not forget to serve Manchurian dishes hot.
