Knead the clay

Knead the clay using your hands. These candle clays are a bit of difficult to give real shape of the candles. If you follow the techniques can Use a rolling pin to roll out some portion of terracotta in to a thick sheet. Cut out a rectangle shape from the clay sheet. Use clay knife for cutting in sharp. Measure the width and length of the clay that you desire to place on your decorative sheet. Decide the actual length that will slightly wick in to make your candle. Roll out the rectangle in your hands in to a log. Start from the wide side roll across to the opposite side.

Insert wire

Insert or attach a wire on the in the end of the roll of clay sheet. Fix the wire in the side or middle part of the clay that joint the other portions and make it stronger for giving further desire shapes. Wrap the clay across the tip. Form in to a burning flame shape. Allow the clay candle to dry completely. Toil the polymer clay to soften it. Work it in your hand to make softer. Make out a form on the clay in to block that is about some inches of larger than the figure candle in the instructions. Place the block on a sheet and let the clay be seated for some minutes and let it cool then.

Paint the clay

Paint the candle with ceramic glaze. Paint the base of the candle in white color. Paint top of the candle with some mix red or orange color that resembles burning flame. Wait for some time. Let the glaze dry completely. Create the model candles approximate size in your imagination. That should be proper height, length and tall than no larger it. Poke a hole in the bottom of the molded candle. You may add designs and other decorative things in that hole. The whole area must acquire sufficient place to place any designs in between.

Fire the clay candle
