Ingredients Required

  1. Plain Yoghurt
  2. Stalk Curry Leaves
  3. Cumin Seeds
  4. Ginger (grated)

  6. Coriander Leaves (chopped)
  7. Chilled Water
  8. Oil
  9. Pepper
  10. Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Take a bowl and place yoghurt in it. Beat it for 10 to 15 minutes until smooth. You can also blend it in a blender.
  2. Pour water and blend the mixture well.
  3. Take out the juice of the grated ginger and add it to the above solution. You can use a muslin cloth to squeeze out the juice of the ginger.
  4. Add salt and pepper and stir well.
  5. Take a frying pan and heat some oil in it. Add cumin seeds to the oil.
  6. When the seeds start to splutter, go on to add chilli and curry leaves.
  7. Even as the spices are sizzling add them to the above prepared butter milk.
  8. You can also add some finely chopped coriander leaves to the drink.
  9. Pour it into a glass and allow it to chill for an hour.
  10. Serve it and relish the drink.
