How to Make Butter Milk
Buttermilk is considered to be a very healthy drink which contains low-fat skimmed milk. Though the easiest way to prepare butter milk is to blend 2 parts of water with one part of curd, along with a pinch of salt, here we will learn to prepare a yummier version of the butter milk. The following butter milk formula has been derived from the traditional Indian recipe.

Ingredients Required
- Plain Yoghurt
- Stalk Curry Leaves
- Cumin Seeds
- Ginger (grated)
- Green Chilli

- Coriander Leaves (chopped)
- Chilled Water
- Oil
- Pepper
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Take a bowl and place yoghurt in it. Beat it for 10 to 15 minutes until smooth. You can also blend it in a blender.
- Pour water and blend the mixture well.
- Take out the juice of the grated ginger and add it to the above solution. You can use a muslin cloth to squeeze out the juice of the ginger.
- Add salt and pepper and stir well.
- Take a frying pan and heat some oil in it. Add cumin seeds to the oil.
- When the seeds start to splutter, go on to add chilli and curry leaves.
- Even as the spices are sizzling add them to the above prepared butter milk.
- You can also add some finely chopped coriander leaves to the drink.
- Pour it into a glass and allow it to chill for an hour.
- Serve it and relish the drink.
