How to Lose 10 Pounds
You may sometimes feel the need of losing 10 pounds really fast. Although it is possible to lose 10 pounds quickly, but it depends on the method which you follow so that those 10 pounds stay lost and you don’t gain them back as soon as you lose them. Some people believe in starving to lose fat. You must remember that starvation only lowers down the metabolism in your body which in turn makes it impossible to lose fat fast. Further, if you don’t eat much during these days, you will only be obsessed with the intention of breaking your fast by splurging on all the foods which you missed acutely during the fasting days. This will only bring you back to square one. You will again put back all the weight that you had lost. So it is better to follow a more sensible plan so that you can actually lose the 10 pounds and not subject yourself to much torture.

- You should try to replace that fat with some muscles. You can do this with exercise of the right kind. Visit a nearby gym daily and do some exercises under a guidance of a professional. Building muscles will increase your metabolism which in turn will burn calories. Include some cardio exercises about 3 times in a week which will make a lot of difference to your weight. Besides doing exercise, you can change your regular habits to include more activity. Climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator, try to go for walks daily and if you have a penchant for dancing, then this is the time to do it. This will increase the metabolism in the body and help in losing weight.
- Don’t deny yourself the casual indulgence in fat-rich foods. Although splurging in junk food is bad, yet you need to eat the food that you love at times to prevent yourself from feeling disturbed at your dietary habits. Try to bring variety in the food which you have to eat for weight loss so that you don’t hate eating it always. If you accept the way of life that you are leading, then you will be happier and this will help you to maintain your body weight even after slimming down.
Make realistic attempts at losing weight without compromising on the health of your body. Your effort to lose 10 pounds may not be visible in a week but if you are persistent, you will surely be able to lose that kind of weight.
