Steps to learn the classic card trick.

Get a deck of cards and shuffle.
Invite the spectator to pick a card when you are not looking at it.
Ask the spectator to remember the card and show it around for all to see which card he picked.
Cut the deck into two parts and hold them in different hands. You need to remember the bottom card. This is important as it would help you play your trick well.
Ask the spectator to place the card on top of one block of cards in one hand and place the other on top it. You are not sure which card he has picked till now.
Now, shuffle the deck properly without being choosy to do it much.
Open the card and check out your bottom card. The next one to your bottom card is the one the spectator chose.
Now, it’s you turn to show the card back to the crowd and take the applaud.
