A person has to go through a behavioral interview to allow his potential employer to gauge his capability to deal with certain situations in the company based on his past reaction in a similar situation. This is supposed to be much more effective than answering hypothetical questions. During a behavioral interview, you will be asked for real-life examples of how you dealt with a particular situation. General answers are not required. Instead, you will have to describe how you handled the project or event and the exact outcome of the procedure. 1. The first thing you have to do is to find out what qualities the employer is interested in. It pays to take a good look at the job profile. • Show how you used logic to tackle a difficult situation
