Go to Control panel and click on network and internet connection
Chose the local area connection and rename it to your gaming console
Go to the wireless network connection and select status.
Now click on the tab called support.
Chose Details option and click on it. Note down the ip of the servers. It would look something like 64.88.152.1and 154.161.5.211
Now again you need to go back and select your gaming console’s name in the network and connections in Control panel.
Click on the internet protocol option and add the server ip that you had noted earlier noted.
You can enter the gateway ips and DNS serve ips and save it.
Once you have done this you can access your Xbox and select the settings menu.
Now chose the IP setting option. As you are manually setting this, select Manual setting option.
Now enter the ips you had noted in respective places.

Remember you must have selected allow other users logged into the system options when you go to network connections and add your gaming console.

Once you have done this, you are now ready to play your favorite games using your Xbox. But before that you need to create an Xbox live account. It is equally important that you do it. Also you would need to pay the subscription fees to be able to access the Xbox live website. You would get a starter kit that would help you set up your Xbox live account.

You need to insert the Xbox live disc to the disc drive of your console and follow the instructions to set up your account.
