Firstly, wash your hair properly with a nice cleaning shampoo. It is a good idea to apply some volumizer while washing your hair. The product will swell the hair shafts and will add volume to your hair.
Now even as your hair is still wet start working on it. Take thin sections of hair and twist them into small curls with your fingers. Pin these curled sections to your head. Curling your hair with fingers will give your hair a more natural wavy look. Leave these twists undisturbed for 30-40.
Now remove the pins and loosen the curls. Make sure not to brush or comb your newly wavy hair because it can ruin the waves.
Instead of using your fingers for curling, you can also make use of rollers to get the wavy look. All you need to do is first apply some volmunising mousse to the hair and then blow dry it.
When the hair is 80% dry, divide it into eight to ten sections and wind around large rollers.
Blow dry your hair until completely dry. Now remove the rollers but don’t use brush. You will get the nice, wavy hair style.
If you want to keep them in place simply apply some light hairspray. Do not over use the hair spray because it will ruin the chic wavy look.
