How to Get Ripped

How to Get Ripped How to Get RippedEvery man fantasizes having ripped muscles as soon as he enters the fitness center. But this can hardly happen overnight. Sometimes even regular workouts and balanced diets fail to give you the desired results. And moreover, it is not easy to observe this routine on a daily basis. Men and even some women expect to have 6-pack abs, rippling biceps and a flat and muscled abdomen within days of starting the training session. But it is hardly possible to get immediate results unless you opt for unnatural means like steroids. Let us find out how to get ripped in a gradual and natural way and also maintain it for years to come.

  1. Never make the mistake of thinking that by eating less, you will be able to lose weight and get into shape. But this is just a myth because when we eat less, our metabolic rate is affected and this causes the body mechanism to slow down and conserve energy. You will not lose fat but still keep it and become less energetic in the process.
  2. The body weight is made up of a fat-free component and a fat component. The fat-free component consists of muscles and bones. If you lose this weight, you will only look terrible and have very less energy to do your routine jobs. Stress should be given to lose the fat component of the total body weight. There are particular exercises which increase the muscles and cut down the fat giving you a toned body with ripped muscles. For this, you have to lift weights, do aerobics and eat proper well.
  3. Weight training can improve the muscles in the body. It is important to do this type of training as it builds up mitochondria, which are the energy centers in our cells. When you increase the amount of energy in a body, it is vital for more oxygen to be used to breakdown the food. To make sure that the food or the nutrients are supplied to all the cells in the muscles properly, weight training is necessary.
  4. You cannot get ripped without considering the nutrition aspect. It is vital to cut down the fat level in the body to about 6-9% which is much lower than the average fat content in a male which is about 14-20%. So eating well with all the necessary nutrients and with as less fat as possible will give you a muscled body.
  5. Keep a strict eye on the nutrients you consume everyday. Take enough protein with moderate carbohydrates and very little fat. The fat that you eat can be the “good” one which is available in fish oil. This type of fat not only provides the needed fat content to the brain and other parts of the body but also keeps the body free from many kinds of fatal diseases. Eat small portions in small time intervals with a lot of water.
  6. You have to do aerobic exercise to get ripped. Cycling, running and jogging are also important. Aerobic exercises help using a lot of oxygen to produce energy by using the fat in our body. Since it is very strenuous, it keeps the heart rate high and oxygen utilization also high. You should try to maintain an ideal heart rate which is about 30% less than the maximum heart rate.

You can choose to get ripped naturally or use pills to do it unnaturally too. There are many supplements which can stimulate the metabolism and burn more calories leading to fat loss and ripped muscles. You can get the results in a shorter period of time. But they can also have side effects. So be careful before you take them.
