Hence, hygiene is a prime feature to be taken care of in this process. The pimple removing procedure needs a sewing needle, warm water, a bottle of alcohol, some gauze and a band-aid. Some people run the needle through a flame to sterilize it. But this is not the right procedure. Rather rubbing alcohol on the needle is an effective method to make it germ-free.
-
Apart from the needle, you should take care that your face and hands are free of germs and bacteria. Clean your hands and face with soap which will also ensure that your face is free of makeup or oil. You can also apply a little alcohol to your fingers and around the pimple and wipe it with the gauze. The safety measures are essential to follow if you want to get rid of a pimple without causing any harm to your skin. - Now, it’s time to prick the pimple. Stand in front of a mirror and carefully use the tip of the needle to prick the white part of pimple. It helps the puss to ooze out. Place two pieces of gauze on each side of the pimple and apply pressure with the fingers. Slowly squeeze out the remaining puss till clear liquid comes out of the pimple. Don’t try to squeeze the pimple directly. Once you see liquid or blood coming out of the area, you should know that the pimple is gone.
- Use an alcohol soaked gauze pad to wipe the pimple and clean the area. It is a good practice to kill most of the bacteria. Also it helps avoid infection of the pimple. Application of alcohol will sting a little, but there is nothing to worry. You can use a band-aid to cover it.
