How to Dry Your Hair
Drying your hair is a very important task before styling your hair. The way your hair would appear the whole day depends on the way you style it. Styling is heavily dependent on how you dry your hair.
Haven’t you marked you left the house with a wet head and it would stay shaggy all day. You would be forced to use scrunchies and hair pins just to appear neat. Drying your hair correctly not only ensures that you have well-styled hair but that you stay away from colds and sinus attacks. Getting into a cool air-conditioned environment right after washing your hair may be an unhealthy practice. There are many ways to dry your hair.
Here are a few of them that will let you have a different style every other day.
Towel dried hair
Towel drying hair is known to people since years. It’s a good practice to towel dry your hair. You can turn your head upside down and put a towel around it. Now wrap the towel around your head. Lift the wrapped part and put it behind. Keep the towel on until it soaks a good amount of wetness from your hair. Once your hair feels relatively dry the towel will start coming off. Remove it and apply a leave-in hair conditioner or a hair moisturising serum. Run a wide toothed comb in your hair and comb it well. Make a parting and let it stay.
Air dried hair
Once you have washed your hair, wipe them once and stay under the fan. Keep running your fingers through them so that there are no tangles. Apply a mousse or gel if you want to style it a certain way. You can go for a gel. Follow the rule less is more. Your hair should not appear limp after you air dried them. They should look well-dried with a tinge of healthy moisture and a natural style. Air drying is a good practice to keep your hair healthy and free from damage.
Blow dried hair
A blow dryer can let you have the style you want with a good blow of warm air from it nozzle. Do not blow dry absolutely dripping hair. This will speed up the drying the process. Wipe hair once and then start blow drying. You can use a hair brush to style it. You can even your hair upside down and keep combing on all areas one by one and blow dry simultaneously. Once your hair is dried turn them over and use a comb to settle them. You will have a lot of bounce and head of hair with lot of volume.
Iron hair for absolute drying and style
This is a method that will make your hair dry and even give it instant style. If you have wavy locks and wish to have a new style then uses a straightening iron for temporary straight hair. Once you towel dry or blow dry your hair apply some moisturising leave-in conditioner and iron your hair with a ceramic hair iron. Leave an inch of hair when you do this so that you prevent your scalp from accidental burns. Be careful while ironing near the ears. Move from top to bottom. Now just comb your hair and style it beads of special pins. This style will last you for a day or two if you do not sweat excessively or have used bands.
