How to Draw Motorbike

How to Draw Motorbike How to Draw MotorbikeDrawing vehicles like motorbike may seem difficult and pretty confusing. But through good observation, your difficulty can be reduced considerably. The only thing you need to focus is divide different parts of the vehicle into different shapes that it resembles. So, are you ready to begin the drawing lesson? Well, here are some guidelines that will be useful to you in your motor bike sketching.

Instructions

  1. Start by drawing two circles for the wheel. Now make a trapezium shape slightly overlapping the circle that is on your right. Make sure the right side of the odd shaped rectangle or trapezoid is not complete.
  2. Now make a long thin tube with one straight end (attached to the centre or below centre of the front wheel) and one rounded end (attached to the top left tip of the trapezoid). This will form the fork of the vehicle.
  3. Add the handle bars to the top of the fork. Draw horizontally elongated oval shape between the top right-hand side of the trapezoid and the center of the same trapezoid’s left side. Also draw two odd shaped lines just below the oval to show the position of the motor.

  5. Now add the front fender by drawing curved lines between the handlebars and front tire. Place another curved line above the first one. Make sure to close both the ends of the curved lines. While making the fender keep in mind that the lines do not pass through the fork and also that the upper curved line goes around the oval shape in the centre. Add the seat using the oval shape as a guide.
  6. Add spokes and hubs to the wheel by drawing circles inside each wheel and then attaching straight lines to each circle. Draw a bullet shape at the motor area. Also divide the seat of the bike and the body into different sections by making straight lines.
  7. Go on to add more details. Sketch a line from the front wheel hub to the top of the fork to form the cable on the front fork. Draw a small square on top of the cable. Also draw a short line between the body and the handlebars. Add an L shape in front of the wheel and below the handle bars.
  8. Just behind the seat, make a dark curved bar and below the area draw a short upright line. Add more details to the figure to make it look realistic like make dots inside the seat for texture and darken the tires and part of handlebars.

Your motorcycle sketch is complete. Even if you don’t get it right the first time, keep practicing until you are satisfied with your piece of sketch.
