If you really like those unique styled buildings, learn to draw them. It is pretty simple and also great fun. You can use colorful castle images for decorating your kid’s room or even for illustrating a story of castles and knights to your kids. Here are some guidelines that will help you draw castles and it may also inspire you to come up with some more creative ideas.

Instructions

Firstly draw three rectangles. While the center rectangle should be broader horizontally, the other rectangles touching the sides of this rectangle should be narrower, standing tall on each side.
Now make another rectangle emerging from the center rectangle. Keep this rectangle narrow and tall. This will form the centre tower of the castle.
Add caps to each of the tall rectangles. Make triangular shapes slightly curvy at the base. Once done with the tops of the towers, add another two towers just behind the side towers. Make sure these towers are of lesser height than the front ones. Add caps to the back towers just you did for the front ones.
Now start working for the details. Add curved windows to the castle towers and also to the center rectangle. Make at least three windows at the centre rectangle. Draw an inverted U for the door of the castle. Also add flags to the top of each tower.
Make a pathway emerging from the door of the castle. Also draw trees and bushes around the castle. This will make your drawing more attractive and realistic. Add brick lines to the walls of the castles for finer look.
Your castle image is complete. Use pencil colors or other coloring medium to add color to your drawing. If you want you can also add some background to your drawing by adding blue sky with white clouds, birds flying, sun rays or any other detail that you think will enhance your picture.
