So make a short visit to the local mart and get your little one equipped the proper painting gear that combines some cool pencils, erasers, sharpeners, sketch pen or color pencils, you can even get some glitters and glue to make realistic characters.

First of all, ask your little kid, which character pleases him the most. Say for example, you kid is fond of Disney characters, then among all the Disney characters which one is his favorite. Most kids are found to love the cute little Mickey Mouse. So here is how to draw an attractive Mickey Mouse drawing:

Choose the image of the cartoon character from a children’s magazine or poster. Once you consult with your little on which image he likes the best to draw, you can now teach him to draw. For the purpose of this article, we can draw the typical exciting looking Mickey Mouse with his hands open gesturing to the beginning of a show.
Categorize the painting into various parts for easy drawing. Check out the head, the hands, the body and the legs.
Draw two circles for the ears in slanting manner. You can make two circles and erase at the bottom to fix the head.
Now, draw the head that is again another circle without the bottom part.
Now make an ‘m like shape in the middle of the head close to the ears to show Mickey Mouse’ ear and forehead are in the same color.
Draw two ovular eggs shaped eyes with the bottom a little less wide than the top. To make the pupils, fill the bottom part of the eyes in a half circle manner.
For the nose make another half circle and join with the face to make the nose look longer like a mouse.
Make the lips with a half circle and draw the lower lip and make the shape of the tongue inside the mouth.
For the hands draw two thin parallel lines and join to the head. Make the shape of the palm and attach to the hands.
To make the tummy Mickey Mouse has, you can draw another ovular shape, this time it is wider and less of height. Put two oval shapes inside the tummy circle to make the buttons of his pant. Now erase the bottom of the ovular shape and draw two thin parallel lines and this time they are vertical.
Make two more ovular shapes not very neat ones and make the shoes of Mickey Mouse.
Now check with the picture you chose and color it well.
