How to Draw a Webkinz
Webkinzs are the much loved and adored soft toys that was initially launched by the Ganz Company in the year 2005. The unique specialty of this toy was that every physical toy came with a secret code that would allow customers to play with virtual pets in the Webkinz World. This world is full of special animals, both earthy and mythical also these animals have their own specialty about them.
So, if you think about drawing a webkinz for yourself or you want to make a card with some webkinz characters on to give to some one, you can do that as well. As Webkinz in not just one animal, there are various cute animals you can draw. There are dogs, rabbits, cats, cows, deers, monkeys, pigs, lions, tigers, bears, elephants, horses, pandas, unicorns, and a lot of other such cute animals found in the Webkinz World.
So, first you need to decide which animal you love the best and you want to draw it. Say for example, you decide to draw a dog. In dogs also, you have a lot of varieties you can choose from. And suppose you pick a Basset Hound to draw as it looks very cute and friendly; also it is easy to draw for a beginner.
To draw your webkinz Basset Hound, you would need to get some drawing material ready with you like some papers, pencils, erasers, rulers, color pens and glitters. Now, you are all set to draw out your first webkinz pup, the basset hound.
Here is a list of simple steps that you need to follow:
- The most important part in a Basset Hound is its head. So you must be careful while drawing it. First draw a oval shaped circle for the head.
- The webkinz basset hound’s head has three major parts like the eyes, nose and the mouth. So softly mark three sections for each one of these in a well proportionate manner.

- Note that the basset hounds ears and the area around the eyes are of the same color. Put two triangular shapes (though these shapes need not be perfecting or angularly triangular) at each side of the big circle you have drawn for the head. The triangles are inwardly drawn. You must leave some space between the triangles to make the forehead.
- Draw eyebrows and eyes, one in each of the triangles.
- Add a half circle upside down for the nose.
- Draw a small ‘w’ shape for the cheeks and make sure, the bottoms are rounded than sharp. Also ensure the middle point of the ‘w’ is touching the half circle meant for the nose.
- Put another circular shape at the middle bottom of the ‘w’ for the mouth. Add an out line to the mouth to make the lips.
- For the ears try two cylindrical shapes connected at both sides of the head.
- Now, your webkinz basset hound is ready to be colored.
- Choose the colors you want for your pup. Though the usual colors are cream and chocolate for the basset hound, you can pick different colors to make your pup look different.
Tip: You can even add glitters to add sparkle to your webkinz pup.
