You can begin by drawing a large circle which will form the rear of the car. Draw another oval overlapping the circle with one end of the oval forming the front end of the car. Include the guidelines of the cartoon car.
The next step involves drawing a face in the oval shape. Draw big round eyes and a smiling mouth. If you like, then you can add eyelids and eyeballs. The smile should be main feature of the car. In no way, should the car look angry or even terrified!
Add eyebrows to the face which may add to the happy look in the face. You can then include other details like the front fender, the hood and the windshield. Don’t try to be perfect in your detailing otherwise it will spoil the look of the cartoon car.
The front bumper can be drawn now along with the tires. You can show the visible part of the tires on one side of the car. Focus on drawing the wheel and then draw the headlights. If you want, you can use the headlights as eyes of the car.
Now the main part of the cartoon car has been drawn. You can now add any detailing you wish. You may want to add some special features which will make the car look more interesting.
In the last step, you can complete the rims of the tires and the windows of the side visible from one side. Generally, it looks good to draw the driver’s side of the car and his window. You can add tiny details like the door handle and the lock hole too. When you have finally completed drawing the cartoon car, erase all the guidelines you had drawn.
Color the car to look like a gorgeous one. Red is generally the color which most artists prefer because it makes the car look beautiful.
