Instructions

  1. Just like any other makeup, you have to start your dancing makeup process by applying some foundation makeup. Clean your face and apply the foundation with a shade that is pretty similar to the color of your face. Apply a coat of the foundation makeup using a makeup sponge around your entire face including chin, neck, ears and the hairline. Use a little bit of powder to set the foundation by applying it evenly.
  2. After applying the foundation, use blush to add both color and definition to your face. Always select a blush matching exactly with the natural color of your cheeks. While applying blush smile to apply blush on the apples of your cheeks and sweep the blush up and out towards your hairline.
  3. Select an eye shadow with a color that will make your eyes stand out on the stage which will otherwise appear smaller due to the effect of stage lights. Also, the color must be matching to your eye color and skin tone. Select three complementary colors and blend them slightly to apply them over the entire eyelid. While applying the eyelid, apply the darkest shade near your eyes, the medium shade above your eyelid crease and the lightest shade under the eyebrow.
  4. After applying the eye shadow, you have to apply liquid eyeliner on the top lid and a pencil liner on the bottom lid. Select black eyeliner which will be more effective than other colors. Apply a thin straight line stating from the inner corner and extend it beyond the natural eyelids. Similarly, draw a thin line under the lower lashes of the bottom eyelid starting from the outer corner.
  5. Apply black mascara gently by sweeping two coats on both upper and lower lashes. You have to apply several coats of mascara to achieve the required effect on the stage. The result will be even better if you curl your eyelashes before applying the mascara.
  6. To finish your dance makeup, apply some right shade of red lipstick to both upper and lower lips. After applying the lipstick, use a tissue and blot the coat softly.
