While drawing the outlines, you need to vary the line thickness of each letter. You can also try lines of same thickness but with proper shading you can give the letters a 3D effect. Copy the drawing for a backup. Adjust the dark shades to ensure the light pencil lines are properly visible. If you want, you can also trace the drawing onto another piece of paper.
Now start darkening the lines, drawn with a pencil. You can use marker or ink as per your choice. Be very careful at this stage because this will be the permanent work. Once done with this, add color to your graffiti letters to make them look really eye-catchy.
