Now you will have to create a mirror image of the photo that you want to copy on your sweatshirt. You can do this by flipping the image using the “flip horizontal” or “flip vertical” tools in the software. This mirror image will make the image come out in the right direction onto your sweatshirt.
Now you shall have to print this particular design onto the transfer paper.
After printing this design, you shall have to cut out the borders from the image very carefully. If possible cut very close to the design itself. However if you want to keep the borders as it is, then you can cut out the design in any form as you wish. If you decide to keep the borders then there might be a slight difference in color than the color of your sweatshirt. If you are having a white sweatshirt, then this change of color is not at all noticeable to the eye but incase you have a sweatshirt of a dark color then the change in color might be visible.

Process of creating the design

Wash and clean the sweatshirt properly before transferring the design onto it. Any dirt present on the shirt might hamper the process of transfer. Let the sweatshirt dry completely.
Place your sweatshirt on the ironing board and set your iron to the hottest setting possible.
In order to prevent any bleed through of ink while the transferring of the design, place a cardboard just below the location where you wish to incorporate the design on the sweatshirt.
Now place the image/design face down on the chosen location of the sweatshirt.
Take a cotton cloth such as a pillow case and put it over the image and the sweatshirt.
Take the preheated iron and use it over the image in a circular motion for about a minute. Using the iron in a circular motion ensures the even transfer of the image onto the sweatshirt without any holes.
Allow the sweatshirt to cool off and then remove the backing.
