How to Curl Your Hair How to Curl Your Hair with a Straightening IronSo you have had boring straight hair for along long time and now want to get something more fun, something that perks up your looks and adds more depth to your face.
But you keep postponing since you do not curler but just your good old straightening iron. Well did you know that your straightening iron doubles up as a curler too? That’s great worth for money.
But how does one use a straightening iron for curling. Here’s how to do it.

  • Comb you hair and get it rid of tangles.
  • Part it at various places. Clip it.
  • Now plug the iron. Let it get warm. Keep it on the medium level.
  • Decide how curly your want your hair to be and the length of the curls too.
  • Apply a moisturizing serum on all parts of hair to be curled
  • Now take a part and hold it with the iron. Now wrap the hair that is hanging down around the iron. A narrow iron is better for curling than a broad one.
  • Stay that way for about 5- 10 seconds. Now unwrap the tied hair.
  • Now check if this is the curl you are looking for. For a heavier curl hold the iron a little longer. If you want lighter curls decrease the holding time.
  • Repeat the process in all the parts you divided.
  • Once you have curls falling all over, spray a hair spray that can hold them for a long time.
  • If you want to keep is for a very short time do not spray.
  • Applying a gel or mousse before curling also helps hold curls for longer.

Decorate your curls with some glitter or pin up in the front. You can even tie a pony to get all your curls in a bunch. Curls can instantly change your looks. You can even curl your bangs and carry a straight ponytail.
