In “Canvas page URL”, you need to assign a unique directory name to your application that is apparently not being used by any other Facebook application. Check the box “Can your application be added to Facebook?” as “Yes”. Tick “use iframe” and leave the “application type” as website. An ‘iframe’ lets you display content from another website. The installation option should open up now and you should answer the question “Who can add your application to their Facebook account?” with “all pages” and tick on “users”. In the “post add URL” field you need to add the desired address of your Facebook application. Use the “application description” text-area to provide an introduction of your application. In the section of “Integration points” a “Side Nav URL” field is required to be supplied again with your desired address (‘http://apps.facebook.com/UR UNIQUE APP NAME’)for you Facebook application. It puts the link of the application on the sidebar of your canvas page. The next thing you need to do is to click on “SUBMIT” and you will be on the homepage of your application.

Step#3:

When adding application for your Facebook profile page, you need to go on “My Applications” and click on “View about Page” for your new application. The last thing you need to do is to click on “add application” for confirmation and you’re done.
