Follow the instructions given below to build your own gaming computer.

Here are a series of steps to help you build a gaming computer:
Step 1: To begin with, check the system requirements of games which you want to play. Some games require high-end computer and you may need to purchase some parts as per the game.
Step 2: Search out the sellers of gaming computer parts. Always buy parts from genuine & reliable sellers and you must read the reviews about the seller and the parts so that you need not suffer afterwards.
Step 3: Buy one separate CPU from the motherboard. If you are planning to upgrade the CPU later, then the motherboard should be capable of taking faster CPU than what you’re using now. Motherboard should also have multiple PCI upgrade slots & PCI express or AGP slot. And your motherboard should have multiple USB ports as well for various devices like mouse, joystick etc.
Step 4: You must follow the directions given in the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions for purchasing RAM. Your computer may fail to operate if you buy an incompatible RAM. 1 to 2 GB memory is desirable to play graphics-intensive games.
Step 5: Purchase largest and fastest hard disk drive and avoid taking SCSI drives as it fails to offer additional performance.
Step 6: You should buy one PCI Express video card or an AGP card. Also buy one graphics card like nVidia GeForce and ATI Radeon.

Step 8: Now, buy a case that can accommodate all of your internal devices and make sure that your case and motherboard have same form factor. Remember that you require a power supply of at least 300W and a CPU cooling fan if you have a fast processor.
Step 9: Now, choose CD-ROM and/or DVD-ROM drive or combo drives. Try to buy rewritable drives with high speed so that you can burn any necessary files to disk.
Step 10: For gaming purpose, buy large flat screen monitor. For advanced gaming experience, get speaker systems. Then, shop for the mouse, keyboard, joystick or headphones, DSL or cable modem, router and wireless access point (if planning to play games online).

Step 11: Now, start assembling your gaming system. Begin with installing CPU, heat sink, cooling fan and RAM on the motherboard. After this, install power supply, motherboard and connect it to the power supply. Then install any front-facing devices & cards in the upgrade sockets. Next, install hard disk drive, CD-ROM / DVD-ROM. After the installation, connect peripheral devices and power on your gaming computer.
