How to Be a Gentleman How to Be a Gentleman Being polite and gentle are the most deserving assets an individual can possess in his life time. This is because to have or achieve such traits as a jewel in personifying his nature and behavior, a person relatively needs no physical efforts but just a desire to observe and learn being a self analyst. There is practically no set of rules or a string of instructions that an individual actually needs to follow for being a gentleman. But what counts the most is being one of such deserving and appealing person by showing some maturity and an adaptable mind for any situation that comes his way.

But still we can categorize some aspects and features that an individual can hold to become a gentleman. Such necessary and notable facets are discussed in brief under the following subheads: -

It is not necessary to learn from a book or incur form a movie as to how we can make our behavior soft and appealing. By some honest observations from the surrounding environment we can also get a clear picture which will help us enhance our positive traits and features. Try to compare an incident you see in your society by putting yourself in the scene. If it was a good incident, develop what you leant from it and if not avoid not to let the same happen in your life. Try to self analysis to what is right and what is wrong based on what you can see and perceive. It is not at all a tough concept to incur what features in us can be rated as qualities and what as vices. This is because we ourselves can judge us the best.

Polite and Understanding

A soft natured person is always accepted by the society with real respect and honest appreciation. The politeness that an individual can hold in his behavioral approach will make him gain attention and fame from anyone he starts a conversation. This is because a caring nature is what everybody counts and prefers to look upon in the character of an individual whom they try to keep close with bonds of emotions. To become gentle and mild, an individual should try to be very understanding and patient. A cool minded person can always make wise decisions and his understanding reflects in selection of a particular approach to solve a problem. All these traits count to become a gentleman which a society always pay importance and search for in an individual whom they care for and try to be with on any note of a relationship.

Speech and Dress Code

Gentleness of a person also reflects from the way he speaks and expresses his feelings even though it might be just on a common cause and not personal. His framing of words for speaking a sentence even can many a times offer a meaning to his gentle attribute. Above these, his dressing sense and the way he makes his outlook before an observer can also give a clear idea of how far gentleness he hold in his behavior. This is because often it is noticed that a gentleman is found to be well dressed and soft spoken.

These above mentioned features are very necessary to pursue by an individual if he lacks gentleness in his nature. But at the same time he should not lose confidence or get demoralized if his appealing character yields a sarcastic remark rather than a desired compliment. This is because at times a situation bounds us to offer those which on a different time slot might appear smooth and appreciable.
