First, you need to do the background because this would be the last layer of the painting. This is the rule; you have to start from the last. After you have finished with the background you can start adding objects to it.
  5. After you have finished with the penciled outline image it is time for you to add colors to the painting. You have to mix the paints well and you can also make use of Galkyd to create that easiness in painting. Start by painting simple things like a bowl full of fruits or a flower bouquet. You must set your hands well before you venture to play with colors in order to give form to more complicated images.
  6. You must allow the paint to dry well for several days. This is important or else the colors would still remain in the untreated form. Remember, this is an oil paint and thus it would take more time to get dry. After the paint has been dried you must apply black to create the shadow effect. Be careful in using this technique or else the entire picture can get spoiled.
