There are also smaller rainforest tracts found throughout Central America, parts of Mexico and Hawaii, as well as other islands of the Pacific and Caribbean.   3. Stop using electrical appliances for things which can be done easily by using your hands like opening cans.
  4. Replace the plastic liners in your trash with reusable brown paper bags. Also reuse the plastic covers like bread bags and butter tubs instead of throwing those to the trash. Also use re-usable containers to store your food instead of plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Instead of throwing your unwanted and reusable items to the trash, take those to a charitable organization or thrift shop.
  5. Ensure that you have not left the water unnecessarily running when you have done with the tap. While installing the shower head, select and install a water-saving shower head. Always set your heater at 130 degrees and get your water heater insulated by your utility company for free.
