Step5: The window has two options available to you such as Networking and Sharing. However, the first option is shown as default. On the middle of the window, there is a small rectangular box with the following message at the top: This connection uses the following items. There are a number of options available to you. However, you need to double click on the one which says “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TPC/IPv4).

Step6: Upon double clicking, it will open up another small window that allows you to change the properties of the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TPC/IPv4). The properties have some default options. Depending on your priorities you need to change the option. The default option usually says “Obtain an IP address automatically. However, if you want to apply any IP address manually, you will need to change select the second option that says “Use the following IP address”. If you choose the second option, you need to give a new IP address manually. Similarly, there are two other options to change the DNS server address. You can change the DNS server address based on your needs. After making necessary changes in the IP Address and DNS Address, click on the OK button and you’re done.
