In addition to the properties, sometimes a fire may also result is lose of human lives. So every workplace needs to be protected with an effective and elaborate fire escape plan. Further, the fire can break out in any part of building in a building in a sudden and unanticipated manner. As a large number of employees spend a substantial amount of time at their working place on a daily basis, the building must be secured with a proper fire escape plan. You can always consider a number of important points, while designing the fire escape and safety plan for you workplace.

Instructions

The location and placement of fire extinguishers is an integral part of the workplace fire escape plan. It is very much important to install fire extinguishers on each floor of the building and you must know the location of the nearest extinguisher to access in a quick and immediate manner at the time of fire emergency. You can visit the installed fire extinguishers in person to find the equipments quickly without referring to the floor diagram. Further, you should also check the fire extinguishers frequently to ensure that the equipments are in a perfect working condition to combat the emergency situation. Based on the instruction manual, you can inspect and test the state of the fire extinguishers based on the positioning of specific parts.

The fire escape design also needs to concentrate on the positioning of the office building exits and placing lighted exit sign above each exit point. People may be using the same exit points on a daily basis, but they may not be able to find the same doors and stairs during a fire break out as the smoke and panic will results in obstructing their vision. So when the exits are marked with lighted signs, these will act as a guide for people even during the power out situations. However, you must undertake regular inspections and checking to ensue that the bulbs and batteries are functioning in an exact and most effective manner.

It is also advisable to avail the services of a certified and experienced fire protection expert to check the effectiveness of the fire escape plan designed for your workplace. The professional can check the placement and working condition of the fire extinguishers, exit lights and emergency lights to make these equipments usable during a the fire emergency. Further, the professional can provide your office staff with the required training to handle the installed fire safety equipments in a quick, proper and efficient manner at the time of a fire emergency.

The safety and security of the workplace is a responsibility of each person associated with the organization. So each office staff should know his rile and responsibilities to ensure the safety and security of the premises. You should train them to be calm and organized in stead of creating a panic. They can also be trained about dealing with a fire emergency situation with regular fire drills. The exercise will prepare them handle the emergency situation in real.

<div

Some people with artistic bent of mind build various kind of drawing. Drawing twin towers is a little bit difficult as it reflect the picture of destruction of towers in a terrorist attack. Someone can draw twin towers using basic drawing tools, techniques and following certain useful hints given below:

Place a piece of paper

As twin, towers are the distinctive parts of the skyline do not need an excellent master skill to draw it. Place a piece of white paper in the ground. Always use good quality paper for absolute awesome drawing. Do not try to draw even a single point if the paper is not pace in a plane surface.

Draw straight parallel lines

Draw three parallel lines with the help of ruler and pencil towards a side of the paper. These lines should be present with some inches of gap. Make the right and left part with crating some space between them. The centre line must long about some inches. Make use of a ruler to connect all three lines in the top. Divide with short diagonal segments. Repeat the process again at a bit of distance mode to draw another feature. Repeat this procedure away from the first shape, to make identical rectangular shapes. These symbolize a three- dimensional outlook of the towers as seen from the waterfront

Draw lines at the top center of the towers

Draw a line regarding some inches of long at the top center of the left tower. This represents the feature of electronic device attach to it. Add added details to the picture of the towers, including lines parallel to the top and the vertical sides to signify windowed facade. Decide what will use to make the model feature best. This can be anything one likes to draw in a superior vision. Choose a medium of tools with which it could be draw comfortable. If someone never welded before, might not want to make the twin towers drawing in a genuine shape of model drawing. Use a feature and tools like pencil and marker that expresses the feelings about the drawing.

Shade each tower

Design the towers with some creative sense and shade it giving a unique outlook. Hold the pencil on its side and shade the rightmost part of each tower. Apply light force to ensure create a smooth tenor. Lightly shadow the leftmost planes as well, leaving adequate significance difference between the two sides of each tower to increase the outward show of three dimensions Add detail colors to the surrounding area, including the dock, skyline, and additional buildings. Embellish the drawing with some words or designs. Go over the pencil outlines with a pen and add color to the sky. Decorate the model feature using gray paint putting in vertical lines on the Towers. Create the artwork like the original figure. Collect some original photograph of the towers and try to finish the drawing by looking it over and gaining some ideal hints.

Twin tower alternatively known as petronas towers are world’s tallest towers and drawing the prominent features of the towers are the double-decked sky bridge, pinnacles and an advanced elevator system.

Drawing is a cheering approach for rising imaginative skillfulness.

<p

Some people always had some trouble with drawing a straight line while sketching outdoors while, millions shows huge interest in creating it. Some mathematical formulas based on straight and perpendicular lines with linking over a solution. So it is important ant for everyone to know drawing straight. Anyone can draw a straight line by following some useful hints given below.

Assemble things

Assemble the things needed for drawing a straight line. There are some multiple things used in straight line like, piece of paper, pencil, eraser, crayon, marker and ruler or straightedge. Use these things to make a straight line at the easiest level. Be confident while drawing a line. If someone looses confidence the line could be curve shaped. So concentrate while sketching a line.

Erect writing instrument on paper

Try to start the paper perpendicular to the surface so that the writing point is on it. This will become the first point or location of the creating edge. Keep it in flexible manner to create flaw less line. Loose hand often draws straight line very well. So make hands comfortable run over the paper. A straight line can be a good start to all vertical shaped drawings. So draw the line in perfect erection to complete the choice of all type of drawing.

Make a point with ruler

Place the ruler on the paper so that it is touching the pencil or marker. So it may create a point to be drawn vertically to the upper side. Once someone get mastery over drawing straight line, can draw curves easily. This requires a sort of change in the direction of motion. So become familiar with creating a line to Work with curve and crayons. Place the tip of the pencil on the sheet where a learner wants one end of the line to be. Slowly keep and bring the crayon or pencil to another side of the paper while still applying pressure with the pencil.

Draw line from edge of ruler

Use the ruler with a precision straight line. Quickly move the crayon or pencil in order to draw a straight line easily and quickly. Most people hold it with their index and middle finger as top of the front of the crayon or pencil and their thumb is on the bottom, with the end of the pencil in the space between their thumb and their index finger .But hold it properly with right direction and with both middle and thumb figure can make a line straight.

Move the instrument along with edge

Moving the instrument is a difficult task because it need to press down hard enough so that there is a line on the paper, but not too hard because the writing instrument could break the paper, and then would not have to start the drawing or the straight line for over, which can be frustrating and irritating if working for a long time. So look carefully while doing this job. Do not move the pencil and bring it up off of the paper at the last time.

From mathematical operation to drawing field straight line is used in every aspect. So be a quick learner of line putting a little endeavor.

Watch a video instruction on how to draw a straight line
<p

A map is used largely to get idea of directions of different places. There are maps available in the market which can help you to keep a track of different routes. Well, if you want, you can also create a map of your own. Whether it is a weather map or a direction map, it is not much difficult to build one on your own. Let’s take the case of a directional map. In the initial stage, it might be slightly difficult for you to create a directional map. However, if you follow few things, it would definitely become easier for you to create the map. Here are few of the things that you can do to create a directional map. Have a look:
<p

Beginners love to draw window bay, but in the initial stage they might face slight difficulty in drawing. Do you also belong to this group? Well, in that case, you must know that it is not much difficult to draw a window bay. You would just have to follow few drawing techniques so that you can successfully complete drawing your window bay. Have a look at few of the steps that you need to follow:

When you are planning to draw the window bay, you would have to consider drawing the window frame, as well. At the same time, you would also have to consider drawing few interior portions of the room to give impression of an actual window.

The angles and the perspectives occupy a very important position while you are planning to draw a bay window. This in turn, would help you to give your drawing some depth.

Make sure that you have acquired all the drawing materials that are essential for you draw the bay window.

Now it is time for you to start your drawing.

In the very first stage, you would have to start drawing a rectangular shape which would depict the frame of the window.

However, the rectangular shape that you make on the drawing paper would be the center window.

Now it is time for you to draw the side windows. You would have to fix an angle where you want to draw the side windows. Make these windows in such an angle so that they look upward.

However, if you are planning to draw the bay windows from an outside angle, then make sure that you draw the side windows with an angle downwards.

Draw in such a manner so that the windows that you draw appear like a tunnel.

You would have to draw molding on the sides such that it acquires an impression of being attached to the wall.

Once you have finished drawing the actual window, you would have to draw the window panes.

Portion of the room can of course be part of your drawing to give an original impression that the window is being attached to the wall.

In your drawing, you can put some decorative items like flower vase and a table to depict the interior of the room. If you want, you can also draw portions of the floor.

If you really want to give a touch of realism to your drawing, you can shade a part of the glass window to depict an actual glass.

You can also draw drapery, which in turn, can make the picture more realistic.

Therefore, if you follow these steps, you would certainly find it easy to draw a bay window. Moreover, you would also achieve confidence in your drawing so that from the next time, you can draw any kind of window pictures.
<p

Depending on your capability to construct the sheds and your requirement, these sheds can be very simple or quite complex too. It will basically require you to clear away some space in your backyard to construct this storage structure. Once you get the shed design of your choice, you can use it as it is, or make some changes according to your needs. Since there are many shed designs, you will surely be able to find one fitting your needs and your budget. Let us find out certain things which we must be sure about before searching for the best shed designs.

The very first thing you need to think about is the type of things you are going to store in the shed. You have to think whether you will be storing small equipment for your tools or you expect to keep your lawnmower there. If you plan to use the shed as a workshop, then it will surely require more space too. Depending on the size, you can choose the shed design.

Next, you have to consider if you want to build the shed yourself or get it built by a professional. If you decide to use your own expertise, it is best to keep the design simple. Consider a style which is simple and yet quite stylish. The shed should not look awkward in front of your house. Choose a design which helps the shed to look a part of the house itself. The design and color should complement the main house.

Another important thing which is generally forgotten while choosing the shed designs is the size of the shed door. The door should be big enough to bring the garden equipment inside and also take it outside. You can also plan on making a small door and a big one if you please. But if you want to cut down the costs, it makes sense to make a normally large one.

The space in your backyard will play an important role in deciding the size of the shed. If you have a considerably large area in the house, then it is wise to construct a bit larger shed than you need. This will help you to accommodate more tools in the future.

As far as the material for building the shed is concerned, wood is the best one. The shed designs that you select will guide you about the type of wood to be used. In addition, you can use roofing shingles for the roof.

Now that you have decided on your priorities, you can choose the best shed designs to suit your purpose. There are many shed designs available online which can help solve your problem. Choose the design which you can be confident of doing it yourself. You may also take the help of your family members to complete the job.

Learn more about:
A map is basically a visual representation of a particular location or an area. It is a graphic representation usually denoting the geologic, geographic or geopolitical region of the earth drawn to scale on a flat surface. Cartography is the art and science of making charts and maps. Major types of maps include aeronautical charts, topographic maps, nautical charts and hydrographic charts. Aeronautical charts shows detail features and information about the air routes. While topographic maps provide a complete description and information of the Earth’s land surface including longitudes and latitudes. Marine and coastal areas are represented with complete details on the nautical charts. Information regarding ocean currents and depth of a sea can be found with clear description on the hydrographic charts.

But it is not necessary that your map should be based on the above mentioned data and information only. You can create your own map even for personal use mentioning about the direction and areas of a place you tend to visit. There are some basic points that an individual should note while making a map on his own. Few such important factors are discussed in brief under the following subheads: -

Starting Process: – Start your project taking a sheet of drawing paper along with some colored sketch pens. Hold the paper in a horizontal way so that it takes the shape of a landscape. Just in the centre of the drawing sheet trace a rough sketch of the destination you trying to visit recently. It can either be a holiday spot or any destination according to your holiday plan. Next you should label this rough sketch with an appropriate name for your ready reference. An individual who is not a cartographer by profession should always start creating the map from the middle of the page. This is because such an approach will offer you with freedom to cultivate your thought flow in all directions. You can then be able to logically draw the available directions in reaching the spot which will also help you to keep those details in memory quite easily.

Use your Imagination: – The next step involves all the necessary information in reaching your destination or holiday spot. An individual can draw the various routes and direction using bright colors with proper markings. An individual can even encircle the spots that you meet on the way before reaching the destined location. The map should appear like sun rays radiating in the form of branches from your holiday spot. These branches or routes will represent your stream of ideas in reaching it. Although you can provide countless number of routes in reaching the central location in your map but you should try to make it simple according to your thought flow. This is because your map should possess clarity as well as detail information.

References and Guidelines: – For making your map more creative and informative you can also take references from some relevant sources. These sources may be either from an atlas, tourist map or even from the Internet. In a tourist map or an atlas you can easily find out an easy route which your own map might be missing. You can use capital and bold letters for representing such important names and places which will help you reach the destined spot more effectively. Even on the Internet you can find various details of a place that will help you create your map with more relevant information.

Use Keywords and Sub-Branches

You can use a lot of sub-branches against a particular route. Such an approach will definitely help you while navigating a place on your map more accurately. Use your own keywords for the spots and areas so that you can easily recall them while reaching the desired location. These keywords may either, “Mountains”, “Countryside”, “River”, “Hospital”, “Sea beach”, or even “Petrol pump”. Continue this process in your drawing till your reach successfully to your destined spot on the map.

These are the essential points and factors that holds good while making a map on a drawing paper. An individual should carefully include all the necessary information on his map according to his ideas and thought flow.

Learn more about:
Almost every one of us loves the Santa Claus especially when we visualize him with the Christmas gifts and presents. But when it comes to drawing the outline of the Santa, not every one have succeeded in creating the same on a drawing paper. It is always a subject of great fun and excitement even for the artists and painters. There is a constant thrill while sketching this character on a drawing sheet. But we often notice that small children and kids face some difficulties in drawing a Santa on their cardboard paper. This is because most of them do not know exactly or from where to start their drawing or to sketch what type of costume details to be selected for this subject.

There are some simple and effective ways to sketch the outline of a Santa Claus on a drawing paper. Below mentioned are the essential features described in brief that holds good in drawing a Santa Claus for an individual or a beginner: -

•	Start your drawing buy scribbling a perfect circle for the head and then add the guidelines for the facial expressions on the drawing sheet. It can just be an oval shaped design or a simple circle for the face. The eyes of the Santa will look good in just two simple circular dots. Instead for the eyes you can also sketch two hill shaped lines. Next try to sketch the bell shaped body for your subject. As you proceed with your drawing add the shapes for the feet and the hands. For this you just have to draw two rounded corner triangles facing downwards with pointed angles. The gloves of a Santa can be made to appear simple and cool with circular shapes. To sketch the boots, drag your pencil very lightly with two circles added with two vertical rectangles by their sides. But make sure you do not forget to draw the guidelines on the torso for a Santa Claus. For this you can give a fat bell shaped look to his belly and waist.

•	Then proceed with your drawing to make the circles for his nose and cheeks. Next sketch out the shape of his cool looking hat. For this draft a rectangular shaped figure and to depict its softness simply round up the corners. Add a curly triangle to offer more realistic look with a circular shape on the tip of the hat. For the gift bag that a Santa Claus holds, can also be scribbled in your drawing quite easily. Draft an oval shape from the back of his body or a simple circle to create the shape of the gift bag. Drag the lines of the bag to go over his shoulders and also connect these to one of his hands. This feature will make it look as if he is really carrying the gift bag on his back.

An individual can now draw a Santa after pursuing with the steps mentioned above. But make sure you try to bring all the features that make the appearance of a Santa Claus so cool and appreciable in your drawing. Take your time to develop the essence for such a popular subject on your drawing paper with interest and curiosity.

Mastering the art of drawing buildings is a must for every budding artist. Since the most popular subject in art is people and people are found living, working and playing in buildings. Therefore it becomes very important to learn to draw buildings. Buildings might appear as difficult to draw in the beginning as they need to be given a three dimensional approach to look realistic. Therefore drawing buildings seems to be a bit tough on paper. In this article we shall know about the art of drawing buildings. Have a look at the steps mentioned below that can make your task easy:

First of all you have to place your vanishing point. Vanishing point is that place on the horizon where parallel lines appear as converging in the middle of the page. Then you have to create vertical lines in the front of the building. This can be done by using a ruler and a pencil. Take the ruler and lay it perpendicular to the top edge of the page and then trace two parallel lines of equal length. Now you have to connect the top of the two vertical lines with a horizontal line and also the bottom of the vertical lines. Position the ruler in such a manner that it overlaps the vanishing point and the upper left corner of the box that was just created. Now you have to draw a line to make the top of the side of the building. Make sure that you end the line about half way to the vanishing point. You shall have to repeat this step starting from the bottom left corner of the box. Now you have to join the two angled lines by using a vertical line.

You have to add windows to the front of the building. This has to be done by drawing small rectangles. You have to draw the top and the bottom of the side windows in the same manner as the sides of the buildings were created. Each window has to be finished by drawing two parallel vertical lines that connects the top lines with the bottom lines. Now you have to create the door of the building. Make sure that you place the bottom line of the door on the bottom line of the building.

Now you can add details to the building like a sidewalk, bushes and lampposts. Lampposts can be drawn next to the sidewalk. This can be done by using two parallel lines that are attached to the inside edge of the sidewalk. You can create the top with a circle and base with a triangle.

Now bricks have to be drawn on the building. You can do this by drawing short horizontal lines that are sketched with the help of your ruler. Make sure that you place these lines in even rows. After doing so, you can add short vertical lines between the horizontal lines at odd intervals. Make sure that one row of vertical lines doesn’t match with the one above it.

The last step is to ink the drawing that makes the line art pop out. You then have to use an eraser to rub out all the lines that were drawn earlier while starting to draw the building. However make sure that the ink has dried off before you proceed to erase the unwanted pencil lines. You can scan the artwork, print it or make photocopies of your drawing.

Watch a video instruction on how to draw buildings
<p

It is crucial to draw the map right so that the person for whom you are drawing the map doesn’t get confused with the ways and subways to that point. While guiding someone to a particular destination with the help of drawing a map, there are certain crucial elements that should be taken into consideration.

The first and foremost element is the materials used to draw a map. It’s crucial to pick materials such as papers, fine tip pen, etc. of good quality so that the ink doesn’t get smudged on the paper and the pen makes clear and precise lines for the drawing. Besides you need a pencil to draw the base of the map.

Once you are done with collecting the materials, here comes the first step of how to draw a map. To begin with draw the outline of the map with light strokes of pencil. This gives you opportunity to correct your mistakes by erasing the lines that are not necessary for the sketch. Don’t make the lines darker for it may leave marks while using eraser.

Apart from the exact destination, include important landmarks with which people can recognize the exact location. This helps them visualize exactly where they are on the map. You can also color the landmarks so that the viewer of the map can distinguish them clearly.

Write the names of important landmarks, streets and major high-ways on the map to increase the convenience of using it. If possible, you can include the exit number on the highways so that the viewers can easily follow the streets and the lanes.

Include a scale to inform people about the distance on the map. The scale gives approximate information about the miles or kilometers that are represented with inches and centimeters on the map. The viewers of the map can get an idea about the distance they need to travel to get their destination.

Increase the usability of your map by listing the points of interest such as rest shops, restaurants and shopping centers at the bottom of the map.

Watch a video instruction on how to draw a map
<p
